Shared Purpose is launching an exciting new business partnership with MyCake. This partnership brings together two consultancies with aligned values and highly complementing expertise.

This data can be used to:

evaluate the reach and effectiveness of a grant programme

identify funding cold-spots and gaps in service provision
In practice, this will mean working strategically with VCSE leaders such as a local civil society infrastructure organisation or a VCSE alliance, or with a local authority or integrated care board. Our mixed-methods approach will harness the most reliable and comprehensive data that exists on the VCSE sector from a wide range of sources. We will then undertake deep engagement with local stakeholders to understand what the numbers mean for those working “on the ground”.
Often, reports such as ‘State of the Sector’ are treated as one-off projects — produced with huge effort, only to then sit on a hard drive gathering metaphorical dust. In contrast, our clients will receive a living tool from which they can obtain real-time data.
The impact for our clients will be better evidence, improved data capability, and better outcomes for places and communities.
